Workforce Development

To promote best practice within the early years and childcare sector the Family Centre regularly runs a range of opportunities for professionals. These include conferences and seminars on emerging and current theory and practice with innovative speakers and workshop leaders. To complement these events the Centre also runs practical activity workshops in a variety of areas like 'countries & cultures', environmental play and ‘loose parts', as well as staff development training for managers and HSE certificated 1st Aid courses.
